Faisal Khan is the founder of 1ExtraordinaryLife, LLC an executive coaching and organizational well-being consultancy whose mission is to help people thrive at work and beyond by utilizing the tools available from the science of human flourishing, positive psychology.

 

In addition to his substantial experience as a finance and technology executive in corporate America and the UK, Faisal is a subject matter expert on the topic of human flourishing; he has helped many people begin their journeys to realize their potential and become extraordinary both professionally and personally.

 

Since 2008, he has helped people flourish in life through coaching, consulting and training at the individual and organizational level. By focusing on areas that need improvement, in addition to strengths that can be nurtured, Faisal uses his unique blend of corporate, academic, and professional expertise to help people thrive in life.

 

Faisal holds a master’s degree from The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School and School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and a Master in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, the birth place of Positive Psychology. In addition, he is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, a Certified Applied Positive Psychology Practitioner, a Certified Applied Positive Psychology Coach and an Organization and Relationship Systems Coach. He is a Certified Hogan Assessment Consultant and a Strengths based coach. Faisal is also a Certified Dare To Lead facilitator, Brene Brown's leadership program.

 

Having spent many years working in some of the world’s largest consulting and pharmaceutical companies, Faisal recognized that companies that are able unleash the potential in their human capital not only succeed, but thrive. Such companies have systems, processes and programs in place to ensure that they capitalize on their resources, including their employees. Faisal believes that it is a similar garnering of resources at the individual level, physically, psychologically, socially, and intellectually that can be harnessed to help individuals thrive in life, making one more productive, more efficient and a step closer to extraordinary.

  

Faisal is an assistant instructor in the Master of Applied Positive Psychology Program at the University of Pennsylvania where he works with the founder of Positive Psychology Dr. Martin Seligman. He is the founder of the Penn Program for Flourishing at the University of Pennsylvania, a program to help students gain the skills to flourish in school life and beyond. He is a lecturer and executive coach for Wharton Executive Education, a guest lecturer at the Wharton Business School and an executive coach in the Wharton McNulty Leadership program. He is also a member of the Forbes Coaching Council.

Dominick DeAngelis is a Certified Professional Performance and Leadership Development Coach with 25 years prior leadership experience in industry leading global market research organizations. Dominick’s primary focus is to be a catalyst for individual and organizational transformation, bringing leadership, passion and people together to produce extraordinary results.

 

Dominick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Shippensburg University and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the prestigious Coaches Training Institute. He is also a credentialed Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation and has served on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Chapter of the ICF. Dom also holds a Conscious Business Coaching certification. Dominick’s coaching philosophy is centered on facilitating purposeful change to help achieve

powerful results in peoples’ work and lives. Dom brings passion, authenticity, integrity, curiosity, listening and intuition to his coaching relationships. He believes that at coaching is about connection, about human relationships, helping individuals and teams live in alignment with their values, fulfill dreams, and become the fullest expression of who they are meant to be.

 

 

Penelope Hsu is a board certified, practicing pediatrician who has worked for over a decade in the emergency rooms of some of the busiest Children’s Hospitals in the country. She is also a certified professional coach trained at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and accredited as an Associate Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation.

 

Her current practice includes general and urgent pediatric care as well as a cultivated list of private coaching clients. She provides individually tailored workshops for organizations and groups striving to achieve balance, create sustainable work cultures, and develop leadership skills in all their members.

 

Penelope’s coaching philosophy is guided by her unique background as a healer for over 15 years. She incorporates tools and insights from her clinical world as well as the holistic spiritual training she has received. Her unique pediatric perspective allows her to explore her client’s needs deeply and create life changing, transformational experiences for them.

 

 

Kathi Norman is a physician assistant working in the Portland, Oregon area with over 30 years of medical practice. She has a Master of Biomedical Science (MSBS) degree from the University of Toledo in Ohio and graduated from PENN in 2017 receiving a Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) degree. She studied the science of positive psychology with Dr. Martin Seligman, known as the “Father of Positive Psychology”. Her passion is the marriage of medicine and positive psychology.

 

Kathi is currently finishing a Doctor of Medical Science program at the University of Lynchburg. She has accepted a position at George Fox University as the Director of Clinical Education in the first entry level physician assistant doctorate program.

 

She is an international speaker on forgiveness and its relationship to health and well-being. The International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) has played an important role in the promotion of health and wellness. Kathi has a leadership position as conference lead in the Health & Wellness division actively developing protocols that will

create an environment for growth and flourishing in medical providers. 

 

Dr. Dan Tomasulo. Honored by Sharecare as one of the top ten online influencers on the issue of depression Dan is a highly sought-after international speaker on topics including positive psychology, hope, and positive psychotherapy. He is part of the core faculty for the Spirituality Mind Body Institute (SMBI), Teachers College, Columbia University, and holds a Ph.D. in psychology, MFA in writing, and Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.

 

The developer of the Dare to be Happy experiential workshops for Kripalu, and Director of the New York Certification in Applied Positive Psychology, he writes for Psychology Today and authors the daily column, Ask the Therapist, for PsychCentral.com. His award-winning memoir, American Snake Pit, details his involvement helping the residents of Willowbrook, the worst asylum in American history.  

 

 

Catherine Jackson.  Cathy has over 25 years of experience in the private business sector working on diverse areas such as team management, project development, C-suite customer support, compliance, and change management. She has also worked closely with and supported high net worth individuals.

 

Cathy's breadth of experience allows her to advise on optimal customer solutions, especially related to employee engagement and well-being. Cathy has a Degree in Management and Organizational Behavior (cum laude) and numerous awards and accomplishments related to this field.
